RUBBLE-ORGAN Kassel, DE
TRANSFORMATION
Substance is a conscious decision. We challenge the boundary between waste and resource, transforming sacred construction debris into a structural element. The design for Kassel integrates the renovation rubble directly into the organ façade. The raw fragments of the past enter into a harsh, aesthetic dialogue with the perfection of modern high-gloss surfaces. Roughness meets reflection.

UNBUILT MANIFESTO
The power of this vision lies in its non-realization. While financial decision-makers recoiled from the radicalism of material truth, Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev (Artistic Director of dOCUMENTA 13) recognized the design as a significant contribution to contemporary form-finding. The project remains as a manifesto: The organ as a repository of architectural history.
