DOPPLER-ORGAN CONCERT (Konvoy)

VELOCITY AS FILTER

Traditionally, an organ is static. This experiment mobilizes the pipe array. Through passage in a closed tunnel system at 80 km/h, the Doppler effect becomes a compositional tool. The compression and expansion of sound waves generate a glissando structure mechanically impossible to replicate. Space and time deform the intonation.
